People Consulting - Senior HR Transactions Consultant

Your Opportunity
We are excited to welcome a Senior Consultant to engage in HR-related activities tied to global mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and spins. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support throughout the process, including initial due diligence and project execution, culminating in a successful Day 1 transition. Your essential tasks will involve creating informed HR due diligence reports, developing integration and separation plans, and ensuring effective communication and improved employee experience during transitions.
Your Key Responsibilities
This dynamic position will require managing multiple M&A projects, delivering exceptional client service, and providing innovative HR solutions while handling competing priorities effectively. You will build and lead new project teams, and it’s vital to establish strong relationships promptly. Key responsibilities include:
Providing quality client service and effectively responding to client needs.
Contributing to revenue generation by identifying new engagement opportunities.
Demonstrating expertise in HR operations design, data analytics, and understanding the workforce impact of M&A activities.
Skills and Attributes for Success
To excel in this role, you will require a blend of technical and business skills, including:
Experience with HR aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
Thorough understanding of the complete lifecycle of M&A transactions.
Ability to respond promptly to client concerns and needs.
A practical and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and achieving client consensus.
Willingness to integrate new technologies and applications into everyday tasks.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or psychology.
3-5 years of relevant experience in similar roles.
Exposure to significant projects, either in consultancy or within an internal HR team.
Familiarity with HR automation and compliance.
Willingness to travel and work in a hybrid environment, averaging three days per week at client sites or within EY offices.

Demonstrated success in leading HR transformation initiatives.
