Role:

Relationship Banker I The Relationship Banker I is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience on the cash line and via phone, contributing to the financial wellness of customers, creating meaningful connections, processing transactions, identifying ways Regions can meet customer needs, and assisting in resolving end-to-end customer service inquiries. This role is suitable for candidates with prior teller, limited banking, or some retail sales experience who seek career growth and advancement opportunities. The successful candidate should be ambitious and adaptable with a desire to educate customers on how to bank when, where, and how they want, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to provide personalized service. Primary Responsibilities

Provides a consistent optimal customer experience on the cash line while handling customers’ transactional needs (deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other teller transactions). Answers customer inquiries regarding products and services and fulfills basic servicing requests (new/replacement cards, information changes, PIN reset, reordering checks, and basic problem resolution). Develops relationships with customers, staying informed about the customer’s relationship with the bank. Educates customers on standard consumer products and digital solutions (mobile, online, and ATM offerings) to simplify banking. Assists branch and team members with basic tasks to aid in customer problem resolution. Refers customers to internal experts when more complex financial goals and needs are identified. Follows bank processes and procedures and adheres to applicable laws and regulations; manages and reports operational risks as a branch team member; executes duties delegated by the Branch Manager. Helps achieve branch targets by identifying customer needs and providing appropriate guidance and Regions’ solutions. May conduct outbound calls using generated lead lists to educate customers on emerging technology and assist with financial needs. This position requires tracking time for hours worked in excess of 40 per week and is eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position is incentive eligible. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Ability to work Saturdays as needed Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels Ability to use a computer frequently, including typing and sustained monitor attention Ability to walk and stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds Preferences

One (1) year of banking, cash-handling, and/or customer service experience Skills and Competencies

Ability to adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines Ability to assist customers with digital banking offerings Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously Ability to oversee large sums of cash Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills Additional Job Description

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors that impact pay include experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location, and performance. Pay will vary among associates within the same job. The target information below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for the position location and level. Job Range Target: Minimum:

$39,601.10 USD Median:
