
Superintendent - Millwork Installation

We're looking for a Regional Superintendent who will be the driving force behind day‑to‑day field operations‑someone who ensures safety, elevates quality, and keeps projects moving forward with precision and professionalism. In this role, you'll be the face of our company on project sites across the region, leading installation crews, partnering with general contractors, and keeping our projects running smoothly from mobilization through final closeout.
What You'll Do Lead Field Execution
Supervise millwork installation crews and subcontractors on active job sites
Coordinate daily activities for safe, timely, high-quality work
Interpret and enforce construction documents, shop drawings, and specifications
Track schedules and help keep project sequencing on target
Solve field issues before they become delays or rework
Drive Quality & Safety
Perform routine quality inspections and ensure workmanship met the AWI, ADA, and project standards
Maintain a clean, organized, professional job site environment
Promote and enforce OSHA and company safety policies
Act as on-site safety coordinator, leading safety briefings and ensuring full compliance
Coordinate & Communicate
Serve as the primary point of contact between field teams, project managers, and general contractors
Participate in job site meetings and deliver progress updates
Manage documentation including daily reports, punch lists, and delivery logs
Support material handling and coordinate deliveries for efficient workflow
Support Project Closeout
Lead pre‑punch and final punch list efforts
Coordinate corrections and final closeout activities with crews and subcontractors
Assist in project turnover with clients and GCs
Report progress, field changes, and labor tracking to office teams
What You Bring
Proven experience leading crews and coordinating subcontractors on commercial construction projects
Strong understanding of millwork fabrication, installation practices, and sequencing
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and millwork shop drawings
Sharp problem‑solving skills and adaptability in changing field conditions
Effective communication and leadership abilities with a collaborative mindset
Experience with construction technology tools (Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam a plus)
Strong attention to detail and organized approach to site management
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's in Construction Management, Carpentry, or related field preferred
5+ years of experience in millwork, carpentry, or finish trades
Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or superintendent role
OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to obtain/maintain a DOT medical card if operating company vehicles
Must be willing to travel
