
Order Management Specialist

As an Order Management Specialist, you will oversee the complete order lifecyclefrom entry to shipmentensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and internal customer satisfaction. This role is critical in a welding/manufacturing environment, requiring attention to detail and an understanding of technical specifications. You will coordinate with internal teams, monitor production timelines, resolve order-related issues, and drive continuous process improvement. Role and responsibilities (includes but not limited to): Create and manage customer and forecast orders in the ERP system. Process and coordinate order shipments through the ERP. Follow up on sales opportunity tasks related to orders. Monitor ERP exception reports and collaborate with relevant departments to resolve issues. Support company-wide year-end inventory counts, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. Schedule, coordinate, and execute cycle counts, maintaining thorough and accurate records. Manage inventory transfers between warehouses based on production needs. Ensure proper transaction of products and completion of related projects. Reconcile month-end inventory and work-in-progress (WIP) financials. Review and close job orders, ensuring all material transactions are complete. Collaborate with production to adjust job times and apply labor accurately for costing. Qualifications: Education: high school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred. Experience: inventory management experience or related field preferred. Leadership responsibilities: This position doesn't have any supervisory responsibilities. Travel requirements: This position does not have any travel requirements.
