Position Overview Fund Performance Analysts support investment teams by analyzing portfolio performance, evaluating fund-level metrics, and producing accurate reporting for internal and external stakeholders. This role blends quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and performance attribution to help track fund results and inform investment decisions.

The position requires collaboration with portfolio managers, operations, accounting, and risk teams to ensure timely and accurate measurement of fund performance.

Key Responsibilities

Calculate, analyze, and reconcile fund performance and returns across multiple strategies and asset classes

Conduct performance attribution analysis to identify drivers of returns

Prepare and maintain dashboards, reports, and models for portfolio and fund performance tracking

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual fund performance reporting for investors and internal teams

Collaborate with operations, accounting, and portfolio teams to validate data integrity

Assist in P&L tracking, NAV calculations, and reconciliation of investment positions

Identify discrepancies, anomalies, or performance issues and elevate findings

Support ad-hoc performance analysis and special projects as requested by senior management

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field

Understanding of portfolio management, performance measurement, and investment instruments

Experience or coursework in fund accounting, performance attribution, or financial analysis

Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail

Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or VBA is a plus

Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, collaborative environments

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Interest in fund analytics, performance tracking, and quantitative problem-solving
