Senior Business Development Representative
will take ownership of outbound lead generation, focusing on cold outreach strategies to drive high-value opportunities into the pipeline. This role is not only responsible for individual prospecting success but also for establishing scalable best practices that will shape the future of the BDR team. You'll also own pre-event prospecting (driving registrations from ICP accounts) and post-event follow-up (converting event leads to qualified opportunities). Key Responsibilities
Execute high-volume outbound prospecting via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn to generate qualified meetings Drive outbound prospecting to secure event registrations from ICP accounts (pre-event) Own post-event follow-up cadences to convert event leads to Stage 2 opportunities Refine and optimize outreach sequences, messaging, and objection handling to maximize engagement Utilize Salesforce, Outreach.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales tools for tracking and automation Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure outbound efforts align with sales goals and ICP Establish and document best practices for outreach, follow-up, and qualification Provide mentorship and training to junior BDRs to elevate team-wide effectiveness Track and report outreach KPIs and conversion rates, using insights to continuously optimize tactics Experiment with new outreach strategies to enhance response rates and improve pipeline performance Ideal Skills
Proven experience in outbound prospecting, cold calling, and appointment setting Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, lead qualification, and objection handling Proficiency in Salesforce, Gong.io, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar prospecting tools Experience with HubSpot for marketing/sales alignment Ability to craft engaging, personalized outreach sequences across multiple channels Data-driven mindset with experience in A/B testing outreach strategies Prior experience in a mentorship or leadership capacity within a BDR team is a plus Personality & People Skills
