What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns
Calculate consolidated book-tax differences for tax compliance
Support or manage various tax audits and respond to tax notices
Engage in department projects, including research, planning, and forecasting
Mentor and develop junior tax analysts
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 5 years of recent corporate tax or public accounting experience
Experience with tax software, preferably CorpTax
Proficiency with tax research software, ideally BNA, RIA, or CCH
Strong understanding of accounting concepts and their application to tax issues
3-5 years of corporate tax, public accounting, or related experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Additional experience with tax compliance and audit support
Advanced knowledge of tax law and regulations
Skills in data analysis and interpretation
Familiarity with state apportionment issues
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
