Construction Superintendent - K-12/ Higher Education

We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Construction Superintendent to lead ground‑up and renovation projects for K-12 and higher education facilities in the San Antonio area. This role requires a proactive field leader who ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and manage all daily on‑site construction activities for education projects
Supervise subcontractors, manage site logistics, coordinate inspections, and enforce safety compliance
Review project plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure alignment with project objectives
Maintain accurate daily reports, progress updates, and complete project documentation
Coordinate closely with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and owners to resolve field issues
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with established quality standards
Identify potential risks or challenges in the field and implement solutions to keep projects on track
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial construction
Proven experience managing K-12 or higher education construction projects
Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, inspections, and site safety requirements
Ability to lead subcontractors and manage complex field operations effectively
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
