Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for K-12 and educational facility projects. This role is responsible for managing all day‑to‑day jobsite activities while ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with project plans and school district requirements.
Key Responsibilities Direct and manage all daily on‑site construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications Schedule, coordinate, and oversee subcontractors and vendors to meet project milestones Enforce jobsite safety protocols and conduct routine inspections to ensure quality workmanship Coordinate with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and school district representatives to align construction activities with school schedules and operational needs Identify and resolve field issues proactively to prevent delays or budget impacts Maintain accurate project documentation including daily logs, RFIs, and progress reports
Requirements Proven experience as a Superintendent on K-12 or educational construction projects Strong understanding of building codes, site logistics, and safety standards for occupied school environments Demonstrated ability to lead crews and manage multiple subcontractors effectively Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordination with project teams and school officials Comfort using construction management software for scheduling, reporting, and documentation
