What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Perform a variety of collection activities, including calls, correspondence, and negotiating payment plans
Provide customer service regarding collections issues and process customer refunds
Gather collections data and prepare metrics/updates for management
Assist in designing and implementing collection strategies and workflows
Mentor team members and support supervisors during absences
What is Required (Qualifications)
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience
Demonstrated leadership experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills with negotiation abilities
Excellent knowledge of billing procedures, collection techniques, and accounts receivable
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Some college education preferred
Familiarity with state and federal Fair Debt Collections Laws and bankruptcy procedures
Experience with Oracle or other mainframe operating systems
