Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Golf Professional at Old Waverly Golf Club, located in West Point, MS. The Assistant Golf Professional will assist in daily golf operations, including organizing tournaments, giving golf lessons, managing golf equipment, and providing excellent customer service. Additional responsibilities include ensuring the proper maintenance of the golf shop, fostering positive relationships with members, and monitoring the overall golf experience to maintain high standards of quality and service.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and skills in Golf Instruction and Golf Management
Familiarity with Golf Equipment and general expertise in Golf
Excellent Customer Service and communication abilities to interact effectively with members
Professionalism, teamwork abilities, and commitment to maintaining high standards
Previous experience in a golf operations or management setting is a plus
PGA membership or apprentice program
