What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist customers inside and outside the employer's center with products and services
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
Clean and inspect equipment, including checking fluid levels and preparing rental invoices
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, and fill propane as needed
Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University
What is Required (Qualifications)
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
Willingness to work in environments with moderate risks or discomforts
Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience in customer service or related fields
Familiarity with equipment maintenance or repair
Ability to drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment)
Interest in pursuing additional certifications related to the role
Knowledge of U-Haul products and services
