Automotive Parts Consultant

As an Automotive Parts Consultant, you will deliver exceptional service to both retail and installer customers, supporting store management in achieving set goals. We encourage bilingual applicants to apply! Key Responsibilities: Promote and embody all company customer service initiatives. Greet walk-in customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs. Support managers and installer service specialists in providing assistance to professional customers as required. Engage in company training pertinent to your role. Deliver outstanding service to phone customers by following company protocols, accurately locating parts, quoting prices, and offering related product suggestions and our Low-Price Guarantee. Maintain accuracy with the cash drawer, process transactions securely, and manage cash and credit card payments effectively. Handle exchanges and returns with a friendly attitude, adhering to company policies. Proactively address and resolve customer concerns courteously. Participate in daily operational tasks, including stock maintenance, cleaning, and ensuring compliance with display guidelines. Prepare and process returns of merchandise to the distribution center, along with assisting in monthly stock counts. After receiving appropriate training, operate equipment such as the brake lathe and carry out various in-store services as permitted by local laws. Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle as needed, ensuring compliance with driving eligibility standards. Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to team success. Qualifications: Required:

Exceptional ability to match alphanumeric sequences swiftly, deliver friendly and professional customer service, and multitask effectively with both in-store and phone customers. Preferred:

Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging systems, and experience in automotive sales or service. ASE certification is a plus.
