Position Purpose:
As a Customer Service and Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing fast and friendly service. You will actively engage with customers, assess their needs, and offer assistance to ensure their shopping experience is exceptional. Key Responsibilities: Greet and qualify customers to understand their needs. Recommend products and close sales on entire projects using provided tools and resources. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment. Keep assigned areas in-stock and visually appealing. Understand basics in adjacent departments to assist customers comprehensively. Collaborate with your Department Supervisor and team members to enhance customer service. Adhere to all safety policies and complete required safety training. Take immediate action to correct or report safety hazards. This position may involve working in various departments, including Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental. Your role may include responsibilities typical of Department Sales, Lead Generation, Pro Account Sales, Sales Specialist, Special Services, and Customer Order Specialist.
