Position Purpose:
As a Customer Service and Sales Associate, you will provide exceptional and friendly service by proactively engaging with customers to understand their needs and offer assistance. You will gain in-depth product knowledge through our training tools, enabling you to guide customers in completing their projects successfully. In this role, you will learn to: Welcoming customers and assessing their needs. Recommend products and solutions confidently. Close sales effectively within your department. Assist in adjacent departments as needed. Key responsibilities include maintaining the in-stock condition of your assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, organized, and safe for customers and staff. You will play a vital role in providing a safe shopping environment by adhering to all safety policies, completing necessary training, correcting hazards, and reporting unsafe conditions to your Manager on Duty. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with your Department Supervisor and fellow associates across various departments.
