Position Purpose:
As a Sales and Customer Engagement Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. You will actively seek out customers, assess their needs, and provide assistance in a friendly and efficient manner. This role involves not only product knowledge but also the ability to connect with customers to sell entire projects. You'll learn how to greet, qualify, recommend, and successfully close sales while also understanding basics in adjacent departments. Key Responsibilities include: Maintaining the in-stock condition of your assigned areas. Ensuring that the shopping environment is clean, organized, and safe. Following all safety policies and standards to create a secure shopping experience for customers. Correcting unsafe conditions or reporting them to the Manager on Duty immediately. Collaborating effectively with your Department Supervisor and fellow associates. This position may involve responsibilities from various store departments, including Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental.
