Position Purpose:
Join our team as a Sales and Customer Engagement Associate, where you will provide exceptional service to our customers by actively engaging with them, assessing their needs, and offering tailored assistance. Gain extensive knowledge about our products using our innovative tools to help customers complete their projects successfully. As a key member of our team, you will learn essential skills such as greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing sales for every customer in your department while being familiar with adjacent areas. Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining a well-stocked and organized section of the store Ensuring a clean, safe, and inviting shopping environment Following all safety policies and standards Completing required safety training Addressing hazards from a proactive standpoint or reporting them to the Manager on Duty Collaborate effectively with your Department Supervisor and fellow associates across various departments, which may include Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental. This position includes roles such as Department Sales, Lead Generator, Pro Account Sales, Sales Specialist, Special Services, and Customer Order Specialist.
