Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Techno‑Functional Advent Synchova Consultant to join our Wealth & Asset Management team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will combine strong functional expertise in portfolio accounting and reporting with hands‑on knowledge of Advent Synchova, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver efficient, compliant, and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with portfolio managers, operations, compliance, and finance teams to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements.
Business Analysis: Document workflows for portfolio accounting, NAV calculation, reconciliation, and compliance reporting, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
System Configuration: Perform hands‑on configuration of Advent Synchova modules, tailoring accounting and reporting processes to Wealth & Asset Management needs.
Integration Oversight: Coordinate integration projects with external systems (trading platforms, custodians, settlement systems) using APIs, FIX, and SWIFT messaging.
Project Delivery: Lead UAT, training sessions, and change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new functionalities.
Process Expertise: Provide deep functional insights into fund accounting, portfolio reconciliation, corporate actions, and regulatory reporting.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance reporting accuracy, and improve operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
12+ years of techno‑functional experience with Advent Synchova in Wealth & Asset Management.
Hands‑on expertise in Synchova configuration, workflows, and reporting modules.
Strong functional knowledge of portfolio accounting, NAV calculation, reconciliation, and compliance processes.
Familiarity with financial instruments: equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX.
Technical understanding of SQL/Oracle databases, APIs, FIX protocol, and SWIFT messaging (to collaborate effectively with technical teams).
Proven ability to translate business requirements into system solutions.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Wealth & Asset Management domain projects.
Exposure to Advent Moxy for trade order management and integration with Synchova.
Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Prior experience working in the Middle East financial services sector is a plus.
