Job Summary:
This role is a crucial part of ensuring accurate booking of enterprise opportunities and contracts for downstream invoicing and revenue recognition, using a blend of manual and semi-automated processes within SAP and Salesforce. The individual will review the sales pipeline to identify and solve potential booking issues, conduct weekly financial reconciliations using Excel and Power BI, and collaborate across departments to streamline processes and implement improvements. It's a dynamic position that supports the heart of financial operations, requiring a blend of technical skill, critical thinking, and cross-functional teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize Salesforce and SAP to accurately book enterprise opportunities and contracts. Actively review sales pipeline and deal information to preemptively address booking or customer experience concerns. Perform weekly reconciliations ensuring accurate revenue booking using Excel and Power BI. Collaborate with various teams for data management, system improvements, and process integration. Provide cross-functional support to internal departments, enterprise customers, and partners, ensuring efficient operational workflows.
Must-Have Skills:
Proficiency in SAP and Salesforce for financial operations. Strong analytical skills with Excel and Power BI for financial reporting and reconciliation. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the capability to manage complex deals independently.
Industry Experience Required:
Experience in financial operations, particularly in revenue booking and recognition, within a tech or similar fast-paced industry environment.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
