Role Mission We are looking for a high-impact,
ambitious leader
with a "can-do" attitude to spearhead our digital presence within the US market. As the Digital Manager for Tier 1 Retailers (Sephora, Ulta, Macy’s), you will transition from tactical oversight to
Strategic Market Leadership . You will own the end-to-end digital ecosystem, driving high-conversion strategies, along with Sales and Paid Media teams, to ensure Dolce&Gabbana Beauty maintains a superior competitive edge. This is a role for a self-starter who thrives on challenges and is eager to redefine e-commerce excellence in the prestige beauty space and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Point of Contact:
Serve as the strategic reference point for the Global team and regional distributors across US for all digital business opportunities.
Guardian of Execution:
Own the digital retroplanning and delivery calendar, ensuring all product launches are executed flawlessly and on schedule.
Content Lifecycle Management:
Oversee the deployment of content for retailer websites (PDPs, Brand Rooms), ensuring perfect synchronization with sales and media calendars and respect of Global Guidelines.
Innovation Projects:
Work closely with Retailers and Sales to spearhead projects focused on UX and conversion, including Ratings & Reviews, virtual try-ons, guided selling tools, and enriched product pages.
Digital Development:
Create a "Best-In-Class" approach for Tier 1 Retailers to ensure optimization of UX on retailer’s websites (PDPs, Brand Rooms, Search etc.).
Market Intelligence:
Conduct regular deep-dives into competitor performance and best-in-class digital trends to identify white-space growth opportunities.
Visibility Tracking:
Audit organic and paid visibility given to launches by retailers to assess ROI and e-commerce penetration, collaborating closely with Digital Sales and Paid Media teams.
Full-Funnel Experimentation:
Drive a culture of testing and learning to optimize the user journey in collaboration with Digital Sales and Paid Media teams.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Partner with Sales, Paid Media, PR, CRM, and Trade teams to ensure a unified "360-degree" digital approach for every campaign.
4. Team Leadership & Operational Management
Direct Supervision:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, including a
Digital Coordinator
who will be focused on Tier 2 Retailers.
Culture of Excellence:
Foster a resilient, proactive team environment focused on professional growth and high-standard execution.
Requirements & Skills
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years
in Digital Marketing or E-commerce, ideally within the luxury, cosmetics, or fragrance industry and ideally with team management expertise.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Business, Digital Marketing, or Communication (Master’s degree is a plus).
Technical Proficiency:
Strong knowledge of Digital Merchandising and Digital Sales;
prior experience also in a dedicated E-commerce Sales role is a significant plus.
Platforms:
knowledge of Syndigo, Bazaarvoice, HomeTesterClub, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator) is a PLUS.
Organizational Excellence:
Exceptional organizational skills with the proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining rigorous attention to detail.
