What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Lead and manage an overlay sales team to achieve sales quotas and revenue growth
Recruit and hire qualified sales staff while ensuring territories are fully staffed
Provide coaching and training to Senior Sales Executives on sales strategy and performance management
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize sales attainment and maintain customer relationships
Handle customer escalation issues and support relationship management as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
Four-year degree or equivalent experience; MBA and/or JD preferred
5-7 years of successful sales experience in the Business to Business marketplace
Background in legal services or experience selling to transactional practice groups (M&A, corporate, etc.)
Proven sales management experience, preferably in the legal market or legal technology sector
Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Excellent leadership skills with a proven sales success record
Ability to use financial tools for planning and forecasting
Effective coaching capabilities to enhance team performance
Strong understanding of law firm business models and partnership structures
Exceptional negotiation skills to reach beneficial outcomes for all parties involved
