
JDP is seeking a Corporate Recruiter for a manufacturing company located in the Marietta, GA area!
Responsibilities
Implement the talent acquisition process, including setting expectations with hiring managers, building talent pools, and coaching on interview techniques. Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting, evaluating candidates, advising managers, and managing relocations and intern programs. Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and meeting with managers. Build applicant sources through community services, colleges, agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites. Review and enhance job descriptions to market positions effectively and champion the company culture. Understand business lines and core competencies to assist hiring managers in setting realistic expectations. Research, develop, and implement salary bands based on experience and state metrics. Attract applicants through job advertisements, external recruiters, and job sites. Determine applicant qualifications through interviews, reference checks, and comparisons to job requirements. Source top talent through internet research, networking, direct sourcing, referrals, advertisements, career events, and associations. Conduct screening and selection interviews, coordinate interview processes, and arrange management interviews. Manage administrative duties, record‑keeping, and internal communications. Improve organization attractiveness by recommending new policies, monitoring job offers, and emphasizing benefits. Share knowledge and identify opportunities for candidates’ professional development. Manage intern programs, conduct orientations, schedule rotations, and monitor contributions. Avoid legal challenges by understanding legislation, enforcing regulations, recommending procedures, and conducting training. Update job knowledge through educational opportunities, professional publications, networks, and organizations. Create and provide job offer letters, communicate compensation and benefits, and monitor key HR metrics. Maintain relationships with internal and external clients to achieve staffing goals and collaborate on future hiring needs. Serve as a consultant to new hires and help them onboard. Qualifications
5+ years of experience as an HR Recruiter or similar role. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Paylocity) and resume databases. Experience with sourcing techniques and referral programs. Proficiency in phone, Skype, Zoom, Teams, and online meeting platforms. Support for workplace diversity and familiarity with employment law. Professionalism, organization, project‑management skills, and sound judgment. Knowledge of employment law, training and development, labor relations, compensation management, and SHRM.
