What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center

Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory

Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring cleanliness and inspection of equipment

Prepare rental invoices and manage returned equipment

Participate in ongoing training and education through U-Haul University

What is Required (Qualifications)

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing at least 50 lbs

Willingness to work in a moderate-risk environment with safety precautions

Availability for scheduled shifts and participation in ongoing training

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Previous experience in customer service or retail environments

Familiarity with vehicle maintenance or mechanical tasks

Certification in forklift operation or willingness to obtain certification

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to educate customers effectively

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
