What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center

Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory

Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring proper equipment handling

Clean and inspect equipment, checking fluid levels as necessary

Prepare rental invoices and handle equipment returns

What is Required (Qualifications):

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs

Willingness to work in a moderate-risk environment with safety precautions

Commitment to ongoing education and training through U‑Haul University

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

Previous experience in customer service or a similar role

Familiarity with U‑Haul products or moving and storage industry

Ability to drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment)

Willingness to obtain certification for filling propane

Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspection processes
