What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Drive market share growth across the public sector, focusing on state, local, and education entities along the East Coast
Develop and nurture relationships with executive decision-makers in major metros and state capitals
Align security and identity solutions with regional priorities and innovation agendas
Navigate complex procurement processes to secure contracts and funding
Maintain a visible presence through frequent travel to engage with key stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications)
Proven track record of closing complex deals in the public sector using state-specific contract vehicles
Experience with funding streams, including state general funds and federal grants
Ability to adapt sales strategies to different legislative cycles and political climates
Deep experience in selling to K-12 districts and higher education institutions
Strong executive presence and communication skills to engage with C-level leadership
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Familiarity with the formal RFP/RFQ process across multiple East Coast jurisdictions
Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on achieving revenue and profit targets
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and digital identity modernization
