What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and grow relationships with key decision-makers in state and local governments, as well as educational institutions
Align security and identity solutions with regional priorities to enhance public sector services
Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities within the SLED market across the Northeast corridor
Maintain an active presence in major hubs through frequent travel to engage with customers and partners
Consistently meet or exceed revenue and gross profit quotas for a complex, multi-state portfolio
What is Required (Qualifications)
Proven success in navigating and closing deals using State and Local cooperative contracts and RFP/RFQ processes
Proficient in identifying and leveraging SLED funding streams, including state legislative appropriations and federal grants
Demonstrated ability to manage complex public sector accounts across multiple states
Experience in the Education sector, particularly with large public university systems and K-12 districts
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with C-level executives and SLED leadership
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in selling to the Education market and understanding its specific needs
Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of energy and dedication to succeed
Familiarity with CRM tools for managing business opportunities and sales forecasting
Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive initiatives across organizations
