What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Develop and grow relationships with key decision-makers across major cities and state capitols in the Northeast Corridor
Align security and identity solutions with regional priorities, focusing on digital transformation and cybersecurity efforts
Master procurement cycles and funding mechanisms relevant to each state
Proactively identify and qualify new opportunities within the SLED market
Consistently meet or exceed all revenue and gross profit quotas for the assigned portfolio
What is Required (Qualifications):
Proven expertise in navigating and closing deals utilizing state and local cooperative contracts and formal RFP/RFQ processes
Proficient in identifying and leveraging key SLED funding streams, including state legislative appropriations and federal grants
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-state public sector accounts
Experience selling to the education market, with an understanding of large public university systems and K-12 districts
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with C-level executives and SLED leadership
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Entrepreneurial spirit with high energy, dedication, and a collaborative approach to winning
Experience using CRM tools for sales pipeline growth and accurate forecasting
Familiarity with the unique legislative and budget cycles across the Northeast corridor states
