Write, edit, and publish a high volume of news and culture content daily

Edit copy quickly and accurately under tight deadlines

Collaborate with editorial, audio, and social teams for cohesive coverage

Identify and elevate emerging stories relevant to Black audiences

Apply SEO best practices to improve content discoverability

What is Required (Qualifications):

1–3 years of experience in digital journalism, web producing, or content creation

Proven experience writing and editing online content, including articles and social copy

Familiarity with CMS publishing tools and basic image editing

Working knowledge of SEO, tagging, and content optimization best practices

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field preferred

Multimedia-first mindset with an understanding of journalism across various platforms

Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
