What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Develop new customers and grow existing market share in maintenance, repair, and aftermarket services within the assigned territory
Maintain effective relationships with distributor principals to ensure commitment to the employer’s products
Complete monthly reports on territory development and performance metrics
Prepare and document important meetings with distributors and customers
Articulate the value proposition of the employer's offerings to equipment owners
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Sales
Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar industry (parts & service)
Willingness and ability to travel 80% of the time (Monday‑Thursday remote office on Friday)
Strong analytical skills to assess margin, pricing strategy, and profitability
Experience managing multi‑state territories with high travel requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a distributor‑based or manufacturer‑direct sales model
Experience supporting construction, access equipment, or material handling markets
Demonstrated success influencing senior‑level decision makers
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
Knowledge of aftermarket parts distribution and service operations
