Job Responsibilities
Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers while ensuring cleanliness and functionality
Answer customer inquiries and provide education on products and services
Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University and perform other assigned duties
Required Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
Willingness to work in environments with moderate risks or discomforts
Availability to use protective clothing or gear as necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in customer service or related fields
Interest in pursuing certifications offered by U-Haul, such as for filling propane or driving a forklift
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
