
Our client, a retail chain of home improvement and agriculture stores, is seeking an Investor Relations/ Public Relations Coordinator for a 3+ month contract position in Brentwood, TN. Possibility of extension and/or conversion to direct employment.

About the Role This impactful role supports both the strategic and day-to-day operations of the Investor Relations and Public Relations teams, while also providing high-level administrative support to the Senior Vice President of Investor and Public Relations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Calendar and project management
Preparing and submitting expense reports
Handling confidential information with discretion
Supporting investor relations activities such as stakeholder engagement, investor communications, and conference logistics
Serving as a primary liaison for inbound investor and analyst inquiries
Coordinating internal and external investor events, conferences, and leadership presentations
Proactively managing and optimizing the Investor Relations CRM and document management systems
Responding to a wide variety of requests for information, policies and procedures, and executive action
Maintaining accurate records of all investor interactions, meetings, and follow-ups
Supporting the planning and execution of quarterly earnings activities
Owning and executing complex calendar coordination across time zones and geographies
Arranging domestic and international travel
Anticipating executive needs and proactively addressing issues or opportunities
Maintaining organized filing systems, both digital and physical
Assisting with board materials and executive leadership communications
Coordinating and following up on action items resulting from meetings and conversations
Ensuring timely and policy-compliant preparation and submission of expense reports
Monitoring and managing executive email inbox
Assisting in the creation, editing, and formatting of PowerPoint presentations
Enhancing day-to-day department operations through process improvements
Maintaining a welcoming and organized environment
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from accredited college/university. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Required Skills
Minimum 2–4 years of experience supporting senior leadership within corporate communications, investor relations, finance or executive operations in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional professionalism, discretion and interpersonal presence in managing confidential, high-visibility matters
Advanced organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high standard of quality and accuracy
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word); experience with CRM platforms and investor relations tools preferred
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, often under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
Confident and resourceful in solving problems and delivering results in high-stakes environments
Pay Rate- $30.73- $31.83/ hour
