Responsibilities
Paid $12.50 an hour for 10 hours a week (hours include commute time).
Selling print and digital ads for The Echo, a 151‑year old weekly newspaper in Oglethorpe County, and its special sections.
Delivering weekly papers to local businesses.
Maintaining established business relationships with contacts, creating monthly house ads, selling print and digital ads, helping to create feature pages and ad campaigns alongside the business and marketing managers, and other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands Driving for job duties.
Background Investigation Policy Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of a background investigation including a criminal background check, confirmation of credentials and employment history, and, if applicable, a satisfactory credit check.
