Position Overview Part‑time Graphic Designer (P/T) – Supporting Tate Print & Copy Services. Reporting to the Manager of Tate Print & Copy Services, this role provides design and set‑up services for customers and internal units on a timely basis. Creativity, attention to detail, and efficiency are essential. Extensive knowledge of printing and finishing equipment is not required, but willingness to learn about Tate Print & Copy Services is expected.

Qualifications Minimum qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work on both Macintosh and PC platforms.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Ability to communicate professionally with customers and campus partners.
Knowledge of social media platforms and basic marketing strategies.
Physical Demands Must be able to sit for a long period of time.
Background & Credit Checks Offers of employment are contingent upon a background investigation, including a criminal background check, confirmation of credentials, and a satisfactory credit check if applicable. Duties & Responsibilities Graphic Design – 75%
Assist with graphic design requests and print‑ready file set‑up.
Complete assigned projects, including minor edits, template work, file set‑up, or creating original designs, in a timely manner.
Design UGA business system items (business cards, letterhead, etc.) in accordance with university standards.
Communicate with customers to clarify design requests and confirm project details.
Assist Tate Print & Copy Services and UGA Passport Services in developing marketing assets for print, digital, and social media.
Administrative – 20%
Facilitate conference calls/video conferences with customers as needed.
Review and revise graphic designs based on customer feedback.
Maintain organized records of graphic designs within Tate Print & Copy Services’ file storage system.
All content developed is property of Tate Print & Copy Services.
Other Duties – 5%
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager of Tate Print & Copy Services.
