Sales Manager Job Requirements & Qualifications

3+ years of B2B sales experience in nutritional raw ingredients, dietary supplements, or related industries

Proven track record of $6M+ annual sales (preferred)

Established U.S. client base or distributor network in the supplement/nutrition space

Deep knowledge of raw material sourcing, pricing trends, and market dynamics

Strong familiarity with vitamin ingredients (highly preferred)

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills

Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and accountable to performance metrics

Willingness to travel ~1x/month for trade shows, client meetings, and industry events

Preferred Background & Skills

Existing relationships with supplement brands, manufacturers, or distributors

Experience selling collagen, amino acids, herbal extracts, or vitamins

Strategic territory planning and pipeline development expertise

Ability to leverage market insights to close deals

Collaborative approach—works seamlessly with supply chain, operations, and support teams
