Commercial Lines Account Manager

Salary Range:
$70,000 – $100,000 (Based on experience & designations)

The Role We are looking for an experienced
Commercial Lines Account Manager
to join a growing Clearwater team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for an
established book of business , ranging from small-to-mid-market commercial accounts. We pride ourselves on a high-retention, high-service environment where our Account Managers act as true risk advisors to our clients.
Primary Responsibilities Account Servicing:
Manage the daily service needs of an assigned commercial book, including processing endorsements, certificates of insurance (COI), evidence of property, and billing inquiries. Renewal Management:
Lead the renewal process by reviewing existing coverage, gathering updated exposure data, and coordinating with producers to ensure 90-day renewal strategies are executed. Marketing & Placement:
Prepare and submit applications to our carrier partners. Negotiate with underwriters to obtain the best coverage and pricing for new and renewal business. Risk Advisory:
Identify coverage gaps in current policies and proactively suggest account rounding opportunities (e.g., Cyber, Umbrella, or Professional Liability). Claims Advocacy:
Provide initial guidance on claims reporting and act as a liaison between the client and the carrier to ensure a smooth resolution.
Qualifications & Requirements Licensing:
An active
Florida 2-20 (General Lines)
license is required. Experience:
3–7+ years of commercial insurance agency experience. Experience with
Florida-specific risks Agency Software:
Proficiency in
Applied EPIC
or
Vertafore AMS360
is essential. Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written skills; you must be comfortable presenting to business owners and C-suite executives. Work Style:

in-office position . Candidates must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
