Job Title:
Corporate, Tax, and Real Estate Legal Assistant
Location:
Dallas, TX 75202
Salary/Payrate:
$80-$99K annually
Work Environment:
100% ONSITE
Term:
Permanent/Fulltime
Bachelor’s degree required:
NO
Referral Fee:
AMS will pay $500 should the person you refer gets hired
Responsibilities Primary duties include:
Assist in preparing entity governing documents, such as certificates of formation, organizational consents, LLC agreements, and partnership agreements from attorney-provided forms;
Coordinate with third-party service provider to arrange Secretary of State filings;
Create entity ownership charts and structure diagrams;
Compile .pdf closing binders upon completion of transactions;
Draft and revise correspondence.
Other administrative duties include:
Transcribe dictation;
Handle incoming and outgoing mail;
Set up conference calls;
Review and edit monthly billing invoices;
Open, manage, and maintain client files/filing;
Calendar deadlines and appointments;
Make travel arrangements;
Enter attorney time.
Qualifications Requirements include:
Minimum of five years’ legal assistant experience;
Post‑high school education (i.e., community college, specialized courses, or bachelor’s degree);
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and NetDocs;
Strong organizational skills;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Skills
Proficiency in E‑Filing documents in federal and state courts;
Strong client relations skills;
Works harmoniously and effectively with others as part of a team;
Ability to learn and grow in job‑related areas.
