Corporate Paralegal (In‑House) Chicago, IL

(Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote) Employment Type:

$43–$50/hour About the Role LHH is partnering with our client’s corporate legal department to hire an experienced

Corporate Paralegal . This role provides critical support across a wide range of legal matters, with a strong focus on

corporate governance, entity management, and regulatory compliance . You will collaborate closely with attorneys and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities Draft, prepare, and maintain

corporate governance documents

including resolutions, minutes, consents, organizational documents, and regulatory filings. Support attorneys with

corporate secretarial functions , corporate recordkeeping, and entity compliance tracking. Manage the

legal department calendar , key deadlines, and corporate events. Assist with

insurance filings , documentation gathering, and record maintenance. Support

SEC filings

and help prepare related materials, data, and documentation. Provide general legal support as needed, including special projects. Maintain corporate databases, compliance materials, and document organization. Participate in virtual meetings and support document preparation across

Microsoft 365

and other business software. Required Qualifications 5–7 years

of corporate paralegal experience, ideally in-house or within a regulated industry. Strong background in

corporate governance

and entity management. Experience preparing board materials, resolutions, minutes, and regulatory documents. Insurance industry or regulated‑industry experience preferred. Proficiency in

Microsoft Office 365 , Teams or Zoom, and common business software. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. Strong communication skills and ability to work professionally across all levels of an organization.
