Our client, a trims and packaging manufacturing company, is seeking an Account Manager to join their team in NYC!

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, building strong, value-driven client relationships

Identify and drive account growth opportunities through proactive product and solution recommendations

Lead quarterly business reviews, performance recaps, and strategic planning sessions alongside Sales Leads

Partner with Sales Leads on annual forecasting, revenue tracking, and account performance reporting

Maintain strong follow-up discipline to ensure all deliverables, action items, and decisions progress on schedule

Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, sourcing, production, and global teams to ensure seamless execution

Translate customer requests into clear internal direction, including specifications, timelines, and cost expectations

Act as the central coordination hub across teams, ensuring accountability and timely communication

Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries with clear and concise updates

Anticipate potential challenges and escalate solutions in a calm, organized manner

Maintain detailed records, meeting notes, and action trackers to ensure operational excellence

Qualifications

5+ years of account management, client services, or related experience within packaging, trims, apparel supply chain, or similar industries

Highly organized with exceptional follow-up and tracking discipline

Strong project management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver measurable results

Self-starter with a “no job is too small” mindset and willingness to support the business at all levels

Detail-oriented and process-driven, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to internal and external executive teams

Comfortable working across time zones and global cultures with professionalism and urgency

Experience preparing and presenting business reviews, sales reports, and strategic updates
