Trade Marketing Coordinator
to join our team in Solana Beach, CA. The
Trade Marketing Coordinator
is responsible for supporting both retail partners and owned retail locations through the execution and management of in‑store and digital trade marketing initiatives. The focus of this role is to strengthen brand visibility, drive brand growth, and cultivate strong partnerships with retailers to advance Joie’s overall market performance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning & Execution Collaborate with Senior Trade Marketing Manager to implement trade marketing annual plans designed to support retail partner success and brand business goals. Partner with sales and account services to ensure effective messaging of product and campaign launches to our retail partners. Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all retail channels, working closely with internal teams to align efforts. Confirm new products are properly set up for Target Google and TPA campaigns prior to launch, including determining priority and budgets alongside Sr. Trade Marketing Manager. Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Create competitor analyses and provide recommendations on product marketing within our retailer space. Ongoing In-Store Support Collaborate with internal teams to create effective marketing materials for sales and store associates to support product launches, brand awareness, and ongoing education. Conduct bi-annual reviews of all Joie store graphics and recommend refreshes as needed. Support the execution of in-store events, providing planning, assets, and giveaway support as needed. New Store Opening Support Provide hands-on support for new Joie retail store openings, from early design phases through store launch and post-opening follow-up. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners on store design, fixtures, signage, graphics, and merchandising elements. Serve as a key point of contact for vendors, fabricators, printers, and installers, helping manage communication, quotes, timelines, and deliverables. Work with Senior Manager to manage store opening checklists, ensuring all milestones (design approvals, production, delivery, installation, signage, etc.) are completed on time. Digital Support Develop and deploy Amazon A+ content for all products. Manage retail store Google business accounts and contribute to content plans for retail store social media accounts. Oversee digital asset management system to ensure customer assets are available according to launch calendar and are up to date. Issue and update creative briefs in correspondence with customer-specific asset requests, product launches, sales support, social media assets, and digital marketing programs. Collaborate with the creative team to create eye-catching and educational marketing materials. Regularly audit all Amazon PDPs and identify opportunities to improve our product marketing presentation on Amazon. Conduct monthly audits of all retailer sites to ensure optimal brand exposure, accurate product listings, and effective use of marketing assets. Experience, Knowledge & Education
Experience Three (3) to five (5) years of professional experience in marketing or related field. Hands‑on experience executing trade marketing programs across retail channels. Conducting audits of retailer sites and identifying opportunities to increase conversion, correct inconsistencies, or strengthen branding. Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems. Consumer-packaged goods industry is highly desirable. B2B marketing a plus. Knowledge Knowledge of retail marketing ecosystems, including how brands collaborate with retailers like Amazon, Target, and specialty stores to drive conversion and visibility. Familiar with: Retail promotions, shopper marketing, and merchandising principles to support in‑store initiatives and consistent brand presentation. E‑commerce merchandising best practices, including PDP accuracy, SEO elements, and competitive benchmarking. Education Bachelor's degree in business or marketing preferred, or equivalent work experience. Excellent planning, project management, and organizational skills to manage multiple trade marketing activities and resources simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met. Strong oral and written communication skills for effective collaboration with all levels of management, internal and external customers. Ability to manage timelines and deliverables with external vendors and partners. A strong sense of urgency and ability to manage details while adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to evaluate campaign metrics, audit retailer sites, and identify optimization opportunities. Comfortable coping with change and making decisions without having the complete picture. Possess a strong can-do attitude and openness to constructive feedback. Consistent attention to detail and customer service skills, with a keen ability to identify internal customer needs. Ability to remain poised under pressure and adapt to new circumstances. Leverage organizational and communication skills to deliver multiple projects on time and within budget.
