What You’ll Do Lead
system-wide physician and provider recruitment strategy
aligned with organizational growth and service line expansion Oversee
day-to-day recruitment operations , ensuring efficient, standardized, and compliant processes Advise
senior leadership
on workforce planning, market trends, and strategic growth opportunities Improve the
candidate and onboarding experience
to drive engagement and long-term retention Manage
department budget, vendor partnerships, and external search firms Collaborate with HR, credentialing, finance, compensation, and operations to ensure seamless provider integration Hire, develop, and lead a
high-performing recruitment team Represent Lee Health at events, conferences, and industry networks to stay ahead of recruitment trends

Requirements Education : Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience : Minimum five years’ experience in healthcare operations, recruitment, and/or HR generalist. Strong human resource and physician recruitment related experience specific to healthcare setting preferred. Previous supervisory, HRD, sales/marketing, and/or performance improvement experience required and familiarity with physician compensation models and structure. Experienced in workflows and process redesign efforts.
Certification : PHR (Professional in Human Resources) or SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) preferred.
Other : Must have excellent interpersonal and written skills, positive attitude, be flexible, creative, and innovative and be able to promote and “sell” Lee Health to potential candidates. Some travel required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret recruitment data, business periodicals, Lee Health procedures, or governmental regulations. Must have ability to effectively negotiate, communicate, present information and respond to questions to various stakeholder groups including managers, customers, candidates up to and including executive leadership. Knowledge of federal and state employment laws. Experience and proficient use of Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Internet). Strong ability to effectively lead a multidisciplinary team.
