Highly strategic and technically fluent leader of interior standards, unit upgrade strategy, and material optimization across our national multifamily portfolio.
Strong understanding of construction, multifamily operations, and cost/value trade-offs, and can translate design decisions into measurable NOI impact.
Partner closely with Construction, Asset Management, and Acquisitions to develop scalable interior programs that balance durability, speed, and rent premium performance.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain national interior finish standards for unit interiors, common areas, and amenities.
Lead value engineering efforts on interior scopes across CapEx and renovation programs.
Work directly with Construction and Project Management teams to ensure design solutions are buildable and field‑efficient.
Provide interior scope input during acquisition underwriting.
Build and manage relationships with national and regional finish vendors.
Partner with Management to track performance of interior programs.
Qualifications
Background in both design and construction environments.
Strong vendor sourcing and material procurement experience.
5+ years of experience in commercial or multifamily design, construction, or value‑add renovation.
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
Demonstrated experience working on large‑scale multifamily portfolios.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
