THE ROLE
We are hiring a Business Development professional focused on driving new account acquisition and territory expansion in the Southwest region of the U.S. It's built for a proactive hunter who enjoys the challenge of creating and scaling new business. This role is highly autonomous, field-based, and ideal for individuals who thrive on outbound prospecting, pipeline building, and breaking into new markets. Key responsibilities: Deliver at least $800K in net-new revenue during your first year Target and prospect manufacturing clients in priority sectors such as supplements, nutraceuticals, food & beverage, and personal care Identify, qualify, and close scalable, margin-positive business Represent the company at trade shows and industry events Build new accounts and, after an initial period, smoothly transition them to internal teams for ongoing management Collaborate with inside sales coordinators to support onboarding and account growth Actively manage a multi-state territory with significant travel and minimal office time TERRITORY OVERVIEW
Flexible territory design based on candidate experience and strategy. You do not have to travel to all the states. QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking candidates with: Minimum 3 years of B2B outside sales or territory business development experience Demonstrated record of winning net-new accounts and achieving revenue targets (ideally $750K+ per year) Background in packaging, industrial supply, manufacturing distribution, or related sectors Strong prospecting, field sales, and account penetration skills Discipline with CRM systems and pipeline management Ability to work independently, travel frequently, and build relationships across diverse manufacturing markets Experience in supplements, personal care, or food & beverage verticals is a plus, but not required COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
