Job Description Adventure Camp Director - Community Services Department

Runs day‑to‑day camp operations ensuring participants, staff and site maintain standards that lead to a quality camp experience and program (20‑24 hours per week). Reports directly to and is accountable to the Community Services Coordinator.

What You’ll Do

Supervise campers and counselors in outdoor adventure activities

Serve as primary contact for parents and incidents

Enforce safety and behavior standards

Coordinate field trips and daily activities

Manage attendance, reports, and safety checks

Maintain equipment and program areas

Requirements

2+ years experience working with children in camp or recreation settings

Strong leadership and group management skills

Valid driver’s license

CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to work outdoors and assist in emergencies

20‑24 hours per week
