Commercial HVAC Estimator New Construction
Location: Houston, TX Compensation: $50,000 $75,000/year + Mileage Reimbursement Schedule: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire (6 months) About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial HVAC Estimator with a strong background in new construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of five years of industry experience and a proven ability to accurately estimate mechanical scopes for commercial developments. Key Responsibilities
Prepare competitive and accurate estimates for commercial HVAC projects ranging from $100,000 to $3,000,000. Analyze plans, specifications, and other project documentation to develop full-scope estimates. Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to gather pricing and negotiate costs. Bid on a variety of projects including emergency rooms, hotels, churches, and other commercial buildings. Maintain organized records of estimates and support project transitions to execution teams. Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC estimating, specifically in new construction (residential experience will not be considered). Strong understanding of mechanical systems, building codes, and construction documents. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Project management experience is a plus, but not required. Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Perks & Benefits
