Job Description The Provider Relations Lead will be pivotal in establishing and scaling Soar Autism Center’s presence throughout the Washington D.C. metro area by building relationships with healthcare providers and creating long-term referral relationships. This role will focus on educating pediatricians, psychologists, speech/occupational therapy providers, and early intervention specialists about Soar’s unique, high-quality, integrated approach.
This is a high-visibility and high-impact role that will lead the way in establishing our reputation within the local provider community and differentiating us from competitors.
This position requires frequent (4-5 days / week) local travel within the Washington D.C. metro area and some travel to Baltimore, MD to meet in-person with referral sources.

Salary Range:
$100,000-110,000 per year
Bonus potential:
Up to $40,000 per year
Key Responsibilities
Provider Engagement & Relationship Management - 80%
Build and maintain a robust network of referral partners that support Soar’s market entry and long-term growth.
Conduct ~20 in-person practice visits / week to pediatricians, psychologists, speech/occupational therapists, and early intervention providers to establish and strengthen partnerships. In-person visits include: (a) unscheduled office drop-ins to maintain relationships and (b) formal meetings to educate / pitch providers.
Stay current on industry trends and evidence-based practices to position Soar as a thought leader in integrated autism care.
Act as a resource for providers by addressing inquiries, offering solutions, and facilitating collaboration to ensure seamless patient referrals.
Provide regular updates to providers and referral coordinators on patient referrals.
Performance Monitoring & Activity Tracking - 10%
Update CRM daily to document all demand generation activities.
Review engagement metrics to evaluate outreach effectiveness and recommend strategies for improvement.
Provide regular updates to the Senior Director of Growth & Development, summarizing achievements, challenges, and opportunities in the market.
This role will dotted‑line report to the Market Operations leadership team to ensure close collaboration and submarket prioritization alignment for outreach activities.
Collaborate with Marketing to develop provider and community‑facing materials.
Community Events - 5%
Organize and participate in select, high-impact community events, such as provider workshops or dinners, continuing education sessions, and community health fairs, to promote Soar’s mission and services.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in provider relations, healthcare sales or account management.
Valid U.S. driver’s license and personal vehicle to use for in-person visits to provider practices (mileage reimbursement provided).
Ability to travel ~80% of the time within Washington D.C. and Baltimore.
Eager to join a fast‑paced start‑up that is scaling rapidly.
Strong understanding of healthcare providers and health systems.
Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and motivated to work independently.
