City Year Chicago is seeking a Senior Impact Director (SID), who is responsible for the overall management and execution of the day-to-day Impact operations and achievement of service outcomes. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Impact, the SID is responsible for collaborating with the Impact Operations and Service Senior Directors to meet all departmental goals and support the overall development and management of the staff. The SID supervises 4-6 Impact Directors who directly manage 14-18 Impact Managers, and up to 31 school partner school relationships where we deploy nearly 200 AmeriCorps into national service. The SID oversees the implementation of all Impact aspects of the City Year Impact, including the management and accountability of Impact Directors and Impact Managers in delivering our service, identifying professional development needs and opportunities, strengthening school partner relationships and supporting the AmeriCorps member experience The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience.**Responsibilities** Work directly with the Senior Service Director, Senior Impact Operations Director and Impact Analytics Director to support Impact Directors and Impact Managers in strategy for school deployments.Collaborate with Senior Impact Operations Director to determine necessary support for AmeriCorps member accommodations requests.Consult with Senior Impact Operations Director and Impact Operations team to ensure incident and mandated reports are handled appropriately, documentation is submitted timely and accurately, and ensure the necessary follow up has occurred.Consult with the Managing Director of Impact, Senior Service Director, Learning & Development team and Senior Impact Operations Director to develop training scope and vision for the staff and AmeriCorps members.Partner with Senior Service Director and Senior Impact Operations Director to co-own shared Impact Department convenings, such Impact Department Director and Impact Village meetingsLead the Senior Impact Manager Track; executing on the Impact department’s goals/vision for Senior Impact Managers**Qualifications** In order to succeed in this role, an applicant must have the following competencies: Team Leadership: successfully leads diverse teams of individuals to achieve results; sets priorities and appropriately delegates tasks; holds people accountable - proven ability to engage in cognitive conflict and hold staff accountable towards their performance goals.

years of team management with a strong track record of results:* Travel to schools throughout Chicagoland required; must have reliable means of transportation (valid driver's license and vehicle or ability to navigate public transit).Candidates with a background in education preferred.
