Digital Media Specialist

D2 Government Solutions is seeking a qualified candidate for a Digital Media Specialist supporting Navy Housing digital communications for Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC). This role supports planning and producing content, monitoring performance, and preparing analytics/reporting products for Government review, with periodic travel to CNIC HQ, regions, or installations as needed.
Responsibilities
Support management of Navy Housing social channels and digital communications while maintaining brand consistency. Build and maintain a content calendar; support quarterly and annual communications planning through Government review cycles. Draft posts and customer-facing messaging; propose responses to routine, factual inquiries using approved guidance. Create and edit digital content (graphics, short videos, articles/blog-style content, and outreach materials). Monitor and summarize engagement and performance results; prepare recurring analytics reports and recommendations. Research trends and propose improvements that align to program goals and accessibility expectations. Qualifications
Experience producing and managing multi-platform digital content (graphics, video, written content, outreach materials). Must be able to provide portfolio or work samples showing previously created content. Working knowledge of social media analytics and the ability to convert data into clear reporting and recommendations. Understanding of digital accessibility standards and best practices for public-facing content. Strong writing skills, attention to detail, and ability to work through review/approval cycles Able to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate with a cross-functional team.
