About this role: We are seeking a Group Product Manager to lead the Residential digital portfolio spanning SmartHome applications, technician‑facing tools, connected residential platforms, and residential energy capabilities.
This Associate Director-level role owns portfolio strategy, capital allocation within the residential envelope, and cross‑domain prioritization. You will lead multiple Senior Managers and ensure cohesive investment decisions, disciplined execution, and measurable outcomes across the connected residential ecosystem.
This role operates at the intersection of IoT devices, firmware, cloud platforms, AI‑driven intelligence, mobile applications, and residential energy systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Product & Portfolio‑level strategy across Residential digital experiences
Capital allocation and investment prioritization within the Residential envelope
Cross‑domain roadmap alignment and trade‑off decisions
Leadership and development of Senior Managers
Portfolio KPIs spanning adoption, engagement, connected growth, service performance, and digital enablement
Cohesive integration across homeowner, technician, portal, and energy experiences

Define and evolve a cohesive Residential digital strategy across domains Balance investment across innovation, AI enablement, platform modernization, and operational reliability
Make principled tradeoffs across competing product priorities
Ensure investment aligns to measurable portfolio outcomes
Cross‑Domain Alignment
Drive integration across IoT device strategy, firmware capabilities, cloud platforms, AI models, and mobile experiences
Identify shared services, reusable platform components, and data model alignment Ensure portfolio coherence across homeowner, technician, and ecosystem experiences
Business & Outcome Accountability
Establish portfolio‑level KPIs tied to adoption, retention, connected penetration, service efficiency, and energy enablement
Ensure domain strategies roll up into measurable portfolio impact
Monitor performance and adjust investment priorities as needed
AI & Intelligent Systems Leadership
Elevate AI‑driven personalization, diagnostics, automation, and energy optimization across domains
Ensure data strategy supports predictive insights and scalable intelligence
Drive intelligent differentiation across the Residential ecosystem
Product Leadership & Organizational Development
Lead, coach, and develop Senior Managers across Residential domains
Raise the bar on product rigor, prioritization discipline, and outcome accountability
Partner closely with Product Strategy & Rigor leadership to strengthen product craft
Build a strong and scalable Residential product leadership bench
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
12 + years in Product Management, Digital, SaaS, and/or IoT
6 + years directly leading Product Managers
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or MBA
Experience owning multi‑domain product portfolios with capital allocation responsibility
Strong understanding of device‑cloud architectures, firmware‑integrated systems, mobile platforms, and AI‑enabled products
Demonstrated ability to drive adoption, engagement, and connected ecosystem growth at scale
Experience balancing strategic investment tradeoffs across multiple product lines
Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior cross‑functional stakeholders
Experience in connected home, HVAC, energy systems, or field service environments preferred
