Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including interiors, renovations, and ground-up work. Conduct thorough quantity take-offs across all CSI divisions. Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine accurate cost impacts. Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor bids to ensure scope coverage and competitiveness. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and executives during proposal development. Develop value-engineering options and cost-saving alternatives where appropriate. Maintain up-to-date historical cost data, subcontractor lists, and benchmarking resources. Participate in preconstruction meetings, client presentations, and project handoff sessions. 7+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction. Strong ability to interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and civil drawings. Skilled with estimating software, digital take-off tools, and Excel-based cost modeling. Strong communication and negotiation skills with subcontractors and internal teams. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. Proven track record of producing accurate and competitive estimates. What's on Offer
