Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Analyze project requirements, blueprints, and specifications to determine material, labor, and equipment needs. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans. Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering recommendations. Review and analyze subcontractor bids and proposals for accuracy and competitiveness. Maintain and update historical cost data for future reference and analysis. Assist in preparing project budgets and timelines to ensure successful execution. Communicate effectively with clients and suppliers to clarify project requirements and secure competitive pricing.
